The Family Link Program assist Aboriginal youth and children that are at risk of entering or already within Out-of-home-care (OOHC) statewide (NSW). Dedicated research provides Kinship, Family Contact and Cultural information linking them to families, country, and community, ensuring a sense of social, emotional, and physical well-being.
We work closely with Birth Deaths and Marriages NSW (BDM NSW), Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies (AIATSIS) and other peak research bodies.
At Link Up (NSW) we ensure to provide precise and thorough information to contribute towards Kinship and Family Guardianship as being the most safe and viable option for a child or young person in Out of Home Care.
PLEASE NOTE: Link-Up (NSW) neither denies nor confirms Aboriginality. Where Aboriginality cannot be located Link-Up (NSW) would like to acknowledge that past Government policies may have affected registration, identification or information may have been lost, destroyed, or not documented.
